Varied and large breakfast with lovely cakes was a nice touch. Our room was brand-new and comfortable modern with okay bathroom and a balcony overlooking the piazza, for instance, just what we needed. Plus there was a port close to the hotel.
Wi-Fi was awful; average breakfast, a little disappointed.

Tasty and savoury breakfasts with croissants, pastries plus fruit. Favourable and incredible location close to the modern shopping area. Steps away from Piazza Castelnuovo.

One gets value for money by staying at Politemama. Central, clean and very important- silent. The personal spics englsih and are very helpful if you are looking for locations or activities. The location cant be better, in the center and close to buses to the beach, Mondelo, and airport.

Staff was excellent. Very polite, friendly, helping. Excellent position of hotel for sight seeing, shopping, arrival / departure from the airport, tours.
No air-con in the room we were given the first day. The following day we got another room with balcony (as mentioned in your description) and air con working. It was much petter than the first one. Old fashion shower. I hate showers fixed at the ceiling which cannot be handled by hand.

It's central location and the airport bus stops just outside the hotel every half hour. Staff were all exceptionally helpful from reception to portering and room servicing. We were dealt with courtesy and respect.
Bathroom was a little cramped though spotlessly clean. Room lighting needs improving.

This is an excellent hotel located bang in the centre of Palermo. All the sights of the city are within easy walking distance and the airport bus stops directly outside. Staff were friendly and efficient and our room was comfortable and quiet with very great air-conditioning (essential in July). Breakfast (included) provided everything that we required fruit, cereals, eggs, cheese etc, all in a pleasant old fashioned (in the best sense) dinning room. Cheap, on street parking, is available close by.
Everything was fine. Thank you for a great stay.

Location was good: the center of the city. Air-conditioner worked very good, which was important because of +35C those days. Small fridge was nice to have as well. The staff was pretty helpful and polite.
Very dark rooms. The one we have got - with the double bed (#x06) - was more like boxroom. We were allowed to move to the room with two smaller beds, but the room itself was bit bigger and bit lighter. Anyway was still dark. The hotel needs renovation. Most furniture was like we appeared in 70th (it even has radio built into the bedside-table!) and it still didn't look like antiquarian, but more like just old. Breakfasts were OK, but every day all the same, except that sometimes there was no omelet, which in other days was the only hot food for breakfast. The coffee was instant, and it was kind of shock in Italy, until we found out that we may ask espresso and get it good. No parking in this hotel means you need to buy parking tickets near the hotel every day and always worry to not forget prolonge it or you may get parking penalty (note: there's no free parking in the center of Palermo). Generally, not 4* at all and at any rate, but still nice location and may be evaluated as OK for its price.

We liked everything and it was more than we had expected. The Location is the best in Palermo (after staying one week there and walking all over the city), the room was pleasant and comportable, the staff was very kind, and for no doubt we shall recommed this hotel to all our friends and of course to our travel agent. We came for 3 nights and decided to stay another 3 nights for all these reasons.

Great central location
The hotel is tired and not convinced the four stars are merited. There are better options for less money. The central location comes with the central noise. I would also rather spend a few euros outside the hotel on a decent coffee and cornetto than eat the breakfast provided.

The staff are very helpful and speak English. The hotel is in a very good location. The airport shuttle bus leaves right outside every 30 minutes. The hop on. , hop off tourist sightseeing bus stop number one is a 100 metre walk across the road . The hotel sells tickets to the tourist bus at the reception desk. The breakfast had a very good variety of food. I would stay again . We had a third floor room with a view of the theatre
